[Guide] How to UPGRADE your OLD ep6Client to NEW EP7CLient

STEP 1: Download this TOOL_NEEDED_IN_EP7_CONVERTION.7z this is the file'S that you will be needing in the upgrading process

STEP 2: Extract the file TOOL_NEEDED_IN_EP7_CONVERTION.7z to any any new folder that you like.. ME i use folder name "UPGRADING TUTORIAL" just an example i put all the file that will be needing in the upgrading process

STEP 3: Put your ep6 glogic.rcc inside the TOOL_NEEDED_IN_EP7_CONVERTION folder

STEP 4: Create a new folder name it w/ GLOGIC_EP6 inside the TOOL_NEEDED_IN_EP7_CONVERTION folder

STEP 5: now let's open the glogic.rcc w/ wirar

STEP 6: now Select ALL the item's inside the glogic.rcc that you open w/ wirar in step 5 and extract it to the folder that you created in step 4

STEP 7: Now let's check the file that you extracted using the method in step 6 if all the files are there delete this FF. file's

crow.mnsf
Comment.ini
skill.ssf
tip.txt

STEP 8: Create a new Folder and name it w/ GLOGIC_EP7 inside the TOOL_NEEDED_IN_EP7_CONVERTION FOLDER

STEP 9: Let's Run/open PDF CheckFile.exe inside the TOOL_NEEDED_IN_EP7_CONVERTION FOLDER

STEP 10: i assume that you already know how to use the file that have been run/open in step 9 so i won't be explaining the whole thing how to use it.. Just see the image in the spoiler of figure 10 it will explain everything

STEP 11: Now all the encrypted file in GLOGIC_EP6 FOLDER is now decrypted in GLOGIC_EP7 FOLDER

STEP 12: Now let's open the decrypted default.charclass in any texteditor that you have. the decrypted default.charclass is located inside the GLOGIC_EP7FOLDER

STEP 13: Now let's Find This as you can see the difference between the two the red mark is the missing line or word in your ep6 default.charclass

and there is 3 difference between ep6 and ep7 maplist.ini i already put a red mark on it jus compaire the 2

STEP 16: Now we are done w/ the updating process... Let's go to the easiest part encrypting the decrypted files open the EP7_ENCRYPTOR.exe located inside the "TOOL_NEEDED_IN_EP7_CONVERTION" FOLDER

Setting up an Episode 7 Version 1 RAN Server


I. Required Softwares:

1. Download and install Windows Installer 3.1
2. Download and install .NET Framework 4



3. Download ONLY (important: wait for my further instructions on how you install this later) Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. Before you download this program, you should first check the "service pack" of your computer if it has. To check that, go to Start> Right Click 'My Computer' > Properties > Under the 'General' Tab, at the bottom of the 'System' column, there you can see if your computer has a service pack and what version it is. After knowing your service pack, you may finally download MSQL 2005 Express Edition.
4. After downloading the MSQL 2005 Express Edition with the right Service Pack compatible with your computer. I'm gonna show you a video thats going to teach you how to install MSQL 2005 Express Edition properly. See below.



5. Last to download is the SQL Server Management Studio Express Service. It's download is the same as the MSQL 2005 Express Edition that you'll gonna match the service pack with your computer.



6. The easiest step is installing SQL Server Management Studio Express Service. You're gonna do nothing but hit the 'next' button till you finish the installation. See below. 

II. Server Files:
1. Download Chinese Ep7 Server + Game.exe2. Download Ep7 Editors3. Download EP7 Database4. Now, If you want to Host & Join with the same PC, then Read this5. Open up “CFG\serve1.cfg” and find the IP and change the IP to your Local Area Network IP "EX:192.168.x.x". If you are not sure what is your LAN IP, Press Start Button, Click Run, type "cmd" without the "". Inside Command Prompt type "ipconfig" without the "". Do the same thing on “serve2.cfg-serve4.cfg”

III. Game Client:
1. Currently we don't have any suitable client for our EP7 Server files. You can Read this Article to learn more about How to Upgrade your Old Ep6 Client to Ep7 Client.



2. Open "Param.ini" with "REditor" and change the IP to yours. Make sure your Server IP is same with your Client IP.
4. Also Copy your Client "Data" to your Server Files.
